For years, National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH) has longed for a space to honor the generosity of its organ donors. After much searching, they ultimately chose Jingfu Tunnel, a perfect intersection between the old and new hospital areas. The spirit of the venue was also inspired by the colorful Tianmu glaze works of artist Chen Kunchuan, the organ recipient.

Gazing at the star-like works, we discover that the glazes and light and shadow interweave to create a flowing, ethereal beauty, making us feel as if we are in a fantasy world within the vast galaxy. The brilliant light presented by "one work, one starry sky" is like the colorful journey of life.

We also created a starry sky for this spatial work. The generosity of organ donors, like a sky full of stars, warmly and silently protects future generations. By defining and enclosing the space with free-form seating components, this space becomes more than just a corner of a busy passageway, offering a stable experience and opportunity for people to pause, admire, remember, and pay tribute.
