The inherently good orientation and the green tunnel formed by old trees in the neighboring land are both site features that need to be fully utilized in this case. Combined with the functional use and traffic location, the topography naturally shapes the spatial structure of this case.

⌈One Book, One World⌋

When viewed from a distance, it looks like a book about to be opened; and the book-like sunshades facing the south form a dazzling array of bookshelves. Compared with the dense expressions of the east, west and south, the north is a whole glass curtain facing the green belt, symbolizing the broad and rich world after opening the book; like the sunshade of the banyan tree roots, it also metaphorically represents the inheritance of knowledge.

⌈Everyone reads, everywhere reads⌋

Themed reading spaces for different groups allow everyone to have their own reading corner. The entrance is a neighborhood-style newspaper reading space that echoes the old tree; the high-ceilinged reading hall can accommodate online groups and filter out the external noise; the journal area and children's area on the second floor can take into account the ease of reading for the public and the safety and reading of children; the third floor is the comfortable and leisurely main library and reading area; the fourth floor is a quiet self-study space enjoying the daylight.
