    Across Linsen South Road is the new National Taiwan University Hospital campus. Besides its convenient location, the site also boasts a unique neighbor: the Donghe Zen Temple and its bell tower, as well as the Y17 Youth Activity Center and residential high-rises.<\/p>

    Built in 1993, Donghe Zen Temple offers a tranquil retreat amidst the bustle of Taipei. The bell tower of the Soto Zen Buddhist temple, Taiwan Branch, constructed in 1908, is a designated municipal historic site and a representative example of \"modern Japanese style\" architecture. Its distinctive feature is its use of the most advanced RC construction of the time, while imitating traditional wooden frame structures.<\/p>

    The newly constructed Linsen Building, while adhering to strict regulatory guidelines and north-facing sunlight restrictions, maintains an appropriate distance from the Donghe Zen Temple and the historic bell tower, creating high-quality open space. On the side facing the bell tower, a highly open terrace offers views of the bell tower and the streetscape.
