The limited size of the site inspired a multi-level design with a dynamic circulation system, allowing users to navigate both horizontally and vertically across different floors. This layered layout not only offers visitors access to elevated views of the surrounding scenery but also enhances movement throughout the space. The engaging verticality of the design naturally draws children’s curiosity and encourages exploration.
Functional areas such as traffic lanes, staircases, toilets, and other service facilities are positioned along the site’s edge, adjacent to the boundary line. This strategic placement creates a spacious central courtyard, which serves as the heart of the site for various activities. The courtyard is divided into five distinct zones, each with unique features: an exploration playground, a lawn area, a stepped outdoor stage, a relaxation zone, and a winding trail area.
The materials and overall aesthetic are inspired by nature and guided by principles of leisure, playfulness, and joy. Green serves as the primary color theme, creating a sense of freshness and vibrancy. Rustic permeable paving, exposed concrete finishes, wooden grilles, and colorful, child-friendly elements are combined to create a public leisure space that feels natural, inviting, and full of imaginative variety.
